KENTUCKY GAMEFOWL BREEDERS ASSOCIATION, otherwise known as KYGBA. What does it mean? The purpose: To join together in an organization breeders, fanciers, and researchers to protect our right to show and compete our gamefowl as we choose. To exchange breeding and feeding techniques with each other. To exchange and find better disease control techniques between breeders and researchers of poultry. To help research through state, local, and federal levels to benefit fanciers of all gamefowl.
KYGBA offers a Bronze (free) membership for anybody that doesn't own gamefowl who supports and understands what the KYGBA represents such as Educating and Helping Community programs in the process such as: senior citizens, needy, schools, children, homeless and any other assistance we can be. The Gamefowl industry has always been a part of communities in Kentucky which consists of doctors, lawyers, teachers, healthcare providers, preachers, small business owners, etc.
The KYGBA offers this bronze membership to all industries such as horsemen, cattlemen, houndsmen, hunters, fisherman, etc. So KYGBA members please help us in this task of uniting all industries and people in this state. Numbers are important!!
Any fancier or person engaged in the breeding of gamefowl is eligible for membership in the association. KYGBA dues are $10.00 for gold members each year, with the current year ending September 31, 2016. If you are interested in joining please see the list of directors or just find the shopping cart on the third page!!
Please check out our webpage and we hope you enjoy!!
